About Us

It all started with a girl & a goat, with an excess of goats milk coming into the house from my small herd of dairy goats. I'm Stephanie, the owner & creator of Homegrown from Scratch. I make a variety of goats milk soaps, lotions, creams & other bath and body products such as bath bombs & lip balms. 

My fiance, myself & our two young sons have a small hobby farm in Alberta, Canada. Although you'll see me on socials & at markets, I am so blessed to have the support & help from my family who cheer me on and supports all of my ideas!

As a stay at home, homeschooling mom of two energetic boys, I am so grateful to be able to work from within our home, alongside my kids. They love to help label products, pack orders, and even milk the goats.

Here at Homegrown from Scratch, all of the goats milk used to create our products comes straight from our own herd of dairy goats. Our does are milked by us, personally every day throughout their lactation. We do not skim the cream from our milk, leaving so many rich fatty acids, vitamins & nourishing properties intact to create high quality skincare products. We source our remaining ingredients from trusted suppliers within Alberta. Our goal is always to create high-quality handmade skin care, that is crafted with love & intention.
